SES Volunteers from WA have joined the cleanup and repair operations in Victoria. The 40 volunteers arrived in Melbourne last night by air. After meeting with Victorian SES officials today the volunteers commenced work. This is the largest single interstate deployment of SES Volunteers in Western Australian SES history. Before departure, the volunteers were given an in-depth briefing on the situation in Victorian and what they could expect on arrival.
