A memorial service was held today Thursday at the Riverview Church Cockburn Central to celebrate the life of Geoffrey Robert Merrey who passed away on the 5 March 2010.
Family, friends, SES Volunteers and FESA Staff joined together to reflect on Geoff’s family life, his employment, and service to the SES and the Community. When a recording was played of Geoff’s last message and signed off as “Q37A closing down out” many tears were shed hearing his voice for the last time.
