01/09/2012 – FESA Conference Registration and Awards Night Tickets

Dear State Emergency Service Volunteer

Invitation to the Western Australian Fire and Emergency Services Conference 2012.   As in previous years, two representatives from each SES Unit are eligible to attend the  Fire and Emergency Services Conference.  Conference registration costs for these two representatives will be covered by FESA.  Each Unit is therefore encouraged to nominate two delegates. 

I have pleasure in advising that you have been nominated by the SES Volunteers Association of WA to attend the WA Fire and Emergency Services Conference 2012.
The Fire and Emergency Services Authority is pleased to be hosting this second annual conference to be held on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November 2012, which builds on the success of last year’s inaugural event.

The 2012 conference, with its theme Share, Learn, Prepare – coming together to protect our community, is designed to be a rewarding experience for all those attending from across the FESA family. An exciting program is planned that is sure to be both interesting and relevant. The program will be made available on the dedicated conference website shortly.

As well as networking opportunities provided during the conference, a Cocktail Reception will be held at the prestigious Government House Ballroom on the evening of Saturday 3 November. This event will be an ideal time for delegates to mingle and socialise. As numbers are limited, please register your attendance early.

In addition, this year’s annual State Emergency Service Awards ceremony is incorporated into the conference. The awards will be announced during a cocktail event on the evening of Friday 2 November at Frasers Function Centre, Kings Park. Tickets are available to purchase for $65.

To accept our complimentary invitation to attend the conference, including the Cocktail Reception, plus purchase tickets for the SES Awards you will be required to register online following an easy step-by-step process.
Step 1. Visit the conference website
Step 2. Click on the Registration tab
Step 3. Enter your email address
Step 4. Select State Emergency Service Volunteer Registration – Quantity 1
Step 5. Click the Register button
Step 6. Fill in the required details
Step 7. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration

Registrations close on Friday 12 October 2012.

If you are unable to attend the conference, please inform your Volunteer Association as soon as possible to ensure the opportunity can be offered to another SES volunteer.
