Mac Holt reports that Kalbarri SES has had a well deserved ‘operational rest’ this month with no call outs. He said we are still do training an interesting search scenario involving flood boat transfers across the river, searching on foot for an injured ‘victim’ and extraction to a safe location and all in the dark. AND we now have an additional formally qualified cliff rescue team leader in our leader group. Steve Duncan achieved this ‘hard yaka’ qualification following the recent course in Exmouth.
